What is the best way to plan a trip?
Whether you are selecting one of our packaged trips or creating a custom trip, discussing your travel plans, hopes and desires with one of our Travel Advisors is imperative. Which safari is best for me? My family? What animals will I see? What is the best time of year? Which park should I go to? What lodges? Which hotel is best for me? Lodge? What islands do I want to say on? How many islands to I want to see? All of our destinations require careful planning of international flights, domestic flights (inter-country or inter-island), customs guidance and assistance while at your destination. Can I book a New Adventures trip through my Travel Agent?
Yes. Simply discuss you travel plans with your Travel Agent and have your Travel Agent contact us for arrangements and booking.
I live outside the U.S. Can I book with New Adventures?
Absolutely! About one third of all our guests reside outside North America; they come to us because of our high level of service and capability to provide an excellent holiday or vacation. We make all arrangements by e-mail or telephone and payment can be with credit card or wire. Your vouchers and documents are delivered by Global Priority Mail where available and, if a late booking, by email. There are no additional charges for these services.
What is included in the tour price?
Since we provide both custom and packaged trips what is included may vary. You may include all or some of the following:
Safaris
- Option of Full, Half or B&B lodging, whether in hotels, lodges or tented camps.
- All your park and game reserve fees.
- Unlimited game drives in our safari vehicles.
- All airport transfers.
- All domestic (in country) transportation and transfers as specified in your itinerary. This may include vehicles and/or airplanes.
- Experienced safari guides. All of our guides are English speaking.
- Optional Excursions.
- Bottled water in your safari vehicle.
Islands
- Option of Full, Half or B&B accommodations.
- All ground and inter-island transfers whether by vehicle or plane.
- Optional excursions.
- Customs assistance.
- In-country concierge service.
Do you handle flight arrangements?
You will find New Adventures to be most accommodating with flights. Although we have direct contracts with Air Seychelles, Air Mauritius and Kenya Airways we also have access to some highly discounted fares but we also encourage you to check the low fare Web sites. If you find suitable flights, please give us the opportunity to advise you and make sure you air itinerary compliments all of your land arrangements.

Do I need travel insurance?
You've planned, saved, and patiently waited to go on a trip of a lifetime. This preparation should include travel protection for unforeseen and unfortunate occurrences. What are payment arrangements?
If you are making your booking within 60 days of departure we require full payment within one week of your booking. Before 60 days of departure a deposit of 25% per person plus any air fare is generally required; and the balance is due 60 days before departure. For some Seychelles and Mauritius bookings, full payment may be required due to currency related factors.
Payments can be made by (in order of preference) bank check, wire transfer, personal check, debit cards or credit cards (American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover are accepted). All payments must be in US dollars. We reserve the right to require confirmation of credit card ownership and responsibility and the right not to accept certain credit cards.
Once booked can we make changes to our itinerary?
Certainly, subject to cancellation and change provisions of our suppliers. We are able to make one set of changes without fees (on our part) and do our best to avoid cancellation penalties from suppliers. Small charges are sometimes imposed for additional changes depending on the complexity of the change. See Travel Insurance!
All clients will plan their trip with one of our Travel Advisors.
Our Travel Advisors all have first hand knowledge of the destination, are passionate about the destination and have a desire to share this enthusiasm with you. You will work with a Travel Advisor from start to finish.
