Kenya and Seychelles - 12 Nights / 13 Days

KENYA

Day 1.

After your arrival in Nairobi your safari starts with a flight to Samburu. You will be taken to your Lodge in time for lunch or dinner. If you are there in time, in the afternoon you will enjoy your first experiences with the game in the area. You will return to your Lodge in time for dinner and overnight.

Day 2.

Your day starts out with a morning game drive in Samburu. Your Driver/Guide knows how to find the elusive species and, being in constant contact with other safari drivers, will learn where special sightings are happening and will often make a beeline there. You will return to the lodge for lunch and then go out for another game drive in the afternoon.

Day 3.

Your safari starts with a flight to the Highlands region. Depending on schedules, there may be a game drive in the morning. Once in the Highlands you will be taken to the “The Ark” high up in Aberdare National Park, The Ark is one of the famous “tree hotels” with a large waterhole and fantastic overnight game viewing. Throughout the day, but mostly in the evening and night, many wild animals come to the waterhole. Many guests stay up all night enjoying the comfortable viewing lounges, open air areas and the photography bunker.

Day 4.

Your safari will depart after breakfast across the Kenya Highlands to Lake Nakuru in time for lunch. In the afternoon you will enjoy a game drive in the Park where you will view millions of flamingoes. There are chances of seeing rhinos as this Park is also a rhino sanctuary.

Day 5.

After breakfast you will start on your way to Masai Mara. Once in Masai Mara you will enjoy a game drive on your way to your Lodge.

Day 6.

A fascinating full day game drive (with a picnic lunch) in the awesome Masai Mara. Depending on the time of year you can expect to see lions, elephants, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, cheetah, leopards, hippos, rhinos, antelopes, eagles and many birds and other species. As in the Highlands your Driver/Guide will be in contact with other safari drivers and will amaze you with his skill at locating the hidden animals.

Day 7.

Another full day game drive (with a picnic lunch) in Masai Mara. Your Driver/Guide, having consulted overnight with the other Driver/Guides will head out in whatever direction will bring you to animals you haven't yet seen, including possibly the amazing hippo pools.

Day 8.

One final morning game drive before leaving for Nairobi by land or air.

Note: Depending on flight times your itinerary may require an overnight in Nairobi prior to departing for Seychelles.

SEYCHELLES

Our Concierge will meet you after clearing customs and provide assistance as needed. Our representative will also provide you with information on hiking, activities and tours while in Seychelles. You will be transferred to your hotel.

Days 8-12:

5 nights at Sunset Beach Hotel in a Deluxe Room.

Sunset Beach Hotel -  One of the finest small hotels in Seychelles and a perennial favorite of honeymooners.  Sunset Beach is perched atop a rocky promontory surrounded on three sides by the ocean. The Spanish villa-type architecture with a pool carved out of the rocks is in possibly the most beautiful setting on the island. The thatch-covered pool bar is the ideal spot to enjoy the Seychelles’ glorious sunset views. Deluxe rooms and 2-bedroom villas are offered.

Day 13:

You will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to the Mahe International Airport in time to check in for your flight departure.
