Serengeti Under Canvas - 5 Days

Carefully positioned for close proximity to the wildlife herds of the Great Migration, our two Serengeti Under Canvas camps provide the ultimate viewpoint for this amazing animal spectacle. With only eight tents nestled at each private campsite, enjoy the indulgence of complete comfort combined with the authenticity of nights spent in the African bush.      

Day 1 - 5:   Arusha - Serengeti

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to Arusha Airport where you will board your scheduled flight to Serengti. The actual landing destination will vary. You will be met by our representative and transferred to the camp. Depending on location and time you will have a game drive while en route to the camp. Spend four nights at Serengeti Under Canvas. Your accommodation will be in a spacious mobile tent, each with double bed, ensuite bathroom, separate w.c., and romantic al fresco bucket shower (hot water delivered upon request). With a hint of Bedouin character, these tents boast custom made Indian rugs, crisp linens, sparkling crystal, and polished brass samovars and basins. Safaris in this style allow you to experience the soul of Africa.

You will experience full-day or twice daily game drives in the Serengeti (picnic lunch provided if out all day) with our expertly trained guide. Safaris will be in semi-open safari vehicles (4 to 6 guests per vehicle).

Mobile Camps
Carefully planned to bring guests as close as possible to the magnificent natural spectacle of the Great Migration, the two Serengeti Under Canvas camps are situated at a variety of private campsites throughout the national park and move according to the path of the migratory herds. A comfortable drive brings guests into the midst of moving masses of wildebeest and zebra, ready to witness the natural drama as herds brave obstacles and predators to reach rich grasslands.
