Xaranna enjoys luxurious solitude on its own Delta island within a 62,000 acre exclusive wildlife concession. It is a delightful, airy camp with just nine sleek ensuite safari tents that combine canvas and bleached timber. All the tents have sweeping views across the channels. Each tent has a romantic sala, private plunge pool, indoor bathtub and al fresco shower. Guests can experience guided walking safaris, interpretive game drives and traditional mokoro excursions.
Surrounded by a mosaic of papyrus and reed beds, Xudum lies deep within an exclusive 62,000 acre wildlife concession. Nine playfully crafted split-level safari suites feature large bathtubs and romantic al fresco showers. While on a trapping expedition during the 60's, Jack Bousfield stumbled upon a site that so captured his imagination, he set up camp under an acacia with the unshakeable expectation that others would feel the same. Ten green roomy and stylish canvas tents have been fashioned in classical style and are set into a palm grove creating an oasis from the harsh environment. Persian rugs underfoot and cool cotton sheets form a striking contrast with the rugged wilderness viewed from the comfort of one’s own verandah.
This intimate camp is gathered around a large sitting and dining area which affords magnificent views over the floodplains of the Okavango Delta. Watch giraffe and other plains game march across the savannah. This is one of the best places in the world for seeing buffalo in large numbers, with herds often exceeding 2,000. Each canvas tent at Stanley's Camp is designed in a classic and understated elegance that harks back to the colonialists of the 19th century. Wooden decks provide areas for guests to relax and enjoy cocktails.
Comfortable tents with ensuite bathrooms at secluded campsites in the game-rich wilderness of Chobe National Park offer up close and personal encounters with Botswana’s wildlife. Carefully positioned as close as possible to the resident game, our private campsite moves every five or six days. Well-used animal trails meander between five ensuite safari tents and down to the water’s edge.
The park, populated by up to 30,000 zebra and wildebeest closely accompanied by predators, offers guests the chance to experience the exhilaration of seeing large concentrations of game and the resultant predator interaction. The lodge offers a raised hide above the river where guests can enjoy the spectacular wildlife sightings that we’ve come to expect in this part of Botswana. After dinner, guests can retire to a splendid fireplace overlooking the river.
Accommodating just 22 guests in African-style safari tents raised on a teak platform, each with private adjacent facilities and viewing deck, Camp Moremi offers breathtaking views of the Xakanaxa Lagoon. Wildlife adventures include game drives with frequent sightings of lion, leopard and cheetah as well as wild dog.
