Day 1:   Arusha to Manyara

Depart Arusha in the morning for Lake Manyara National Park. Arrive at your lodge in Lake Manyara for lunch. You will enjoy an afternoon game drive at the park. Lake Manyara National Park is one of the most diverse of Tanzania’s national parks, a tiny combination of Rift valley lake, dense woodlands and steep mountainside. The Park is a birding paradise (more than 380 species), especially for waterfowl and migrants and the forests are one of the best places around to see leopards. Lions hunt on the grassy shores of the lake and were once known for their habit of climbing trees.

Day 2:   Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Conservation

Depart after breakfast for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving at your lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon at leisure. (Option: Leisure with optional activities at The Manor)

Day 3:   Ngorongoro Crater Tour

After breakfast, descend into the floor of the crater for full day game drives with picnic lunch.  The crater covers over 300 square kilometers of land and is the home of the rare black rhino, prides of lion, elephant, cheetah and great herds of buffalo, antelope and wildebeest. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4:   Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park

Depart Ngorongoro after breakfast with a picnic lunch and drive to Serengeti National Park, making a brief stop at Olduvai Gorge.  This is the of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries, whose findings include some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains. Game drive en route. Arrive Serengeti Serena Lodge or Serengeti Migration Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 & 6 :   Two Full Days in the  Serengeti

Spend two full days in Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Serengeti National Park is undoubtedly one of the most famous wildlife sanctuaries in the world. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in its endless plains, for a chance to see the great herds of elephant and wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. The leopard and the cheetah too are common. An optional balloon safari can be considered for one of the mornings.

Day 7:   Serengeti to Zanzibar

After breakfast drop off at airstrip for onward flight back to Zanzibar. You will be met upon arrival and transferred to your hotel in Stone Town. Stone Town Tour in the afternoon. Accommodation at Zanzibar Grand Palace or Zanzibar Serena Inn.

Day  8-10:   2 Full Days in Zanzibar

In the morning you will be transferred from Stone Town to your beach hotel. You can spend your day at leisure on the beach or the various beach activities.

Day 11:   Zanzibar to Arusha

Transfer from beach hotel to Zanzibar Airport for flight back to Arusha. You will be transferred to restaurant for dinner and then to your International flight home.
